So Jeffrey at 52 projects sent me a few copies of his book for a promo soon to appear at whipup. I am loving the book so far and will review it when I finish. I also listened to a podcast or two (craftypod::craftsanity) about jeffrey and his book which were really interesting and I encourage you all to have a listen too.
anyway this post is about my projects - I have lots on the go at the moment, quite a few are on a break and they tend to go in rotation depending on moods
can I list 52 - I am about to have a good crack at it.
- the redcurrent blog - ongoing continuous project, which I am soon to be revamping - a future project.
- whipup blog - was a frenzy to get going and now I am calming down on it while the other authors are posting more, but there are lots of things I have in the works still over there, like new authors joining and a promo and competition coming up.
- self portrait tuesday - which is growing like crazy - more than I ever imagined - I am currently secretly developing a new site for it and that is going to be unveiled very soon.
- baby chicks in the house - this project looking after them will last a few more weeks before we release them to the coop
- house extension project - this is currently on a short break while I think about it some more
- handyhome projects blog - rob is going to be taking this over soon and making it more active
- handmade clothes - the markets each weekend thing is finished but I am still planning on selling on ebay.
- garden project - lots more to do out there - if only it would rain and the plants not die
- the fence - this is a major issue which i need to sort with neighbours
- unfinished business quilt
- quilt commissioned by mother-in-law
- quilt for orlando just needs quilting
- sort out craft room - this is more a job than a project - but the project aspect is in the organisation of it

Life is really a series of projects isn't it!
I love that: Quilt for Orlando *just* needs quilting.
It's the actual quilting that is making this quilting virgin break out in a nervous sweat.
BTW, I love WhipUP. Even non-crafty girls can get inspired :-)
wow...
i had no idea about the
handy home project blog...
i am so excited check it out!
:)
You are one busy lady! I'm excited to hear more about the Whip Up contests. Love that site!
jeesh..you do have a ton of projuects going on, very cool, I can barley handle the project of taking care of these 2 crazy kids, I am getting better at multitasking though now that they are playing together. Look forward to seeing all your new projects.
I just wanna say thank you for this blog, and all the other projects that you're working on that are making a difference in my creative life.
I made some skirts using your suggestions, and am now finishing a pair of pants for the baby!
Thank you so much. It's corny; but I LOVE YOU.
Crimini!
When I put a pen to paper--my projects list runs about this long, only I trust you to complete each project on your list before I reach completion on mine.
You reminded me about the modern quilt along...I'd better get back to work on that
I just found your blog not to long ago and I have been an avid reader. I love SPT, but have not had the courage to participate and whipup is a delightful new site full of inspiration. I did not realize however, that you were the creative force behind all of these incredible projects. Not only that, but you have been the motivation for so many people to try their hands at new projects. Absolutely incredible!
My husband and I spent our anniversery vacation week cleaning and trying to finish all of our projects. We worked like dogs and expected to feel so accomplished. We did feel better, but also realized that there is always more projects. There is always something important on our to-do list.
I guess this is clearly universal because it sounds like you have a giant list of things to do also. I hope though that you find each of them to be as enjoyable for yourself as they are to so many others.
kath, you're just not doing enough - i mean don't you feel bored with all that time on your hands?
re: - rewamping the blog -
