Kroo Creatures

My new Kroo creatures. This is kroo dog and kroo mixup

Here are some kroo dolls made out of gorgeous Amy Butler fabric. I call these three the paisley girls. They are so dainty and feminine.

Kroo doll duo, the one on the left is from Henry Alexander Neighbours fabric.

Markets

Have spent the last couple of days making kroo creatures for my first market stall. Rob has been helping stuffing at night while watching TV, and Otilija has been helping cutting circles for eyes out of felt. I have about 50 now in 3 differerent designs and loads of colours. Not that I expect to sell all 50 - although that would be fantastic, but to have a decent stock to offer is neccessary and then I just have to spend a bit of time each week topping up.

The upholstery project is at a dead standstill, but I will feel the need to finish it soon, materials lying around is a bit annoying. And my wisdom tooth is giving me grief again, am still putting it off having it taken out, always seems I am too busy, but this time I will have to just do it. Kids are subdued now (8am) after waking us up early on a saturday morning with slight hangovers, and then proceeding to annoy us even more by fighting with each other and pouring water all over the couch, for which they were probably not appropriately punished (we didn't quite have the energy for it). Now they are quietly watching music videos.

one chair done

Lots of projects on the go at the moment. Am slowly getting chairs covered. One day a week is dedicated to this project - 3 weeks so far and I have almost finished one chair and have done all the cushions. There are a few bodgy bits, but if you are not looking too closely...

Have been making my kroo dolls too. And have a few in a local crafters / artists store 'the hive'. Am planning on selling them at the local markets too, but am getting a bit of stock together first. Have found some great fabrics for them and have located a great online source for Japanese fabrics
I am sewing in between negotiating to have my shirts made and printed with the kroo doll logo.

Big O girl started Kindergarten, been a hectic time, she is tired and stressed and our new routine has taken a bit of getting used to. Good I think though
